All Nations Badminton Tournament

RULES:

• No player is eligible to play unless registered and paid beforehand
• Teams shall consist of single sex only
• Teams will be awarded 2 points for a win
• In the event of a tie, positions will be decided on difference between points for and against. If this is equal, then decided of head to head result
• In the event of a 3 way tie positions will be decided on total number of points for.
• Where possible umpires will be appointed to matches, however each team must be prepared to officiate games. (Schedule will be sent to coaches/managers)
• If a team fails to appear at the start time of a match (1st serve) the match will be forfeited and the match awarded to the opponents.
• Normal Badminton rules apply
• Each team is allowed a 5 min shared warm up at the start of the match
• The games will start at the scheduled time. If there is an overrun a 5 warm up will still be permitted
• No player may play for more than ONE team.
• Men can only play in the mens tournament
• Women can only play in the womens tournament
• Matches will be 3 set matches to 15 points (rally point scoring)
